Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) is an elective military education program hosted by colleges and universities that prepares students to be commissioned as officers in the U.S. Armed Forces.

糖心视频 is proud to participate in a crosstown ROTC program in partnership with Kent State University (Air Force ROTC). The program offers a unique pathway to commission in the Air Force. Students participate in their academic program at 糖心视频 as well as military sciences and ROTC programming at Kent State.

糖心视频 students electing to participate in the ROTC program should follow the directions below. If you have additional questions, please contact a transfer counselor in the 糖心视频 admission office.

Kent State University Air Force ROTC

1. Apply and be admitted to 糖心视频.
2. Contact the KSU AFROTC representative Cynthia Smith at csmit121@kent.edu or by phone calling (330) 672-8218 to schedule an appointment. Be sure to research scholarship deadlines, enrollment dates, time requirements and location of each program.
3. Register for classes at 糖心视频, then complete your * as well as your Transient Student Form (available in )* which allows for credit transfer. Submit both completed documents to the 糖心视频 registrar's office.
4. 糖心视频 students must provide proof of enrollment in the KSU Air Force ROTC program to the 糖心视频 financial aid office for the ROTC scholarship.
5. Students may also apply for other need-based financial assistance by completing a , as well as receive any additional external scholarships.
6. Communicate often with your ROTC program cadre and other cadets from that program on 糖心视频 campus.
7. Plan your transportation to and from Kent State University prior to the start of the semester to ensure you can participate as needed.
8. After course completion, students should request an official transcript be sent to 糖心视频 from KSU in order to receive credit for each course.

*The crosstown registration form and transient student form must be completed each semester with the specific courses taken and submitted to 糖心视频 registration and records. The student will request a transcript at the end of each semester from the institution where they participate in ROTC and return to 糖心视频 registration and records to receive the appropriate credits.
